Guest Post: Polished 10 and Model City Polish Cold Snap

Hi Wishes of a Blue-Eyed Girl followers! I am Jessica from Polished10. Not only am I thrilled to be sharing a review with you, but I am also honored to be writing a guest post for Julie. We are friends not only in the nail polish community, but in real life as well.

Today I am showing Cold Snap by Model City Polish, which I just recently acquired. I follow MCP on Facebook and Instagram and seen a few posts about how she was prepping to set up a booth at a local festival called Oxfordfest in none other than Oxford, Alabama. This year the festival fell on the first Saturday of October. Always up for a trip, I traveled to Oxford (which isn't that far from Atlanta) for the festival with my family in tow.

Model City Polish's are available on her Etsy Shop. Nina's polishes have an amazing array of finishes- Holo, Glitters, Jelly's, etc. Not only that, but she makes the most deliciously sweet smelling cuticle oils and she stocks mini glass nail files! She carries something for everyone.
Cold Snap is from her Fall Collection. This specific color is described as a bright blue lacquer with scattered holo pigment. I have a "thing" for blue nail polish. I just cannot get enough of it! I'm mesmerized by this one in particular because in some lights the polish reflects a yellow flash in the holo, and at other times I notice a purple tint within the holo. At any rate, it's fantastic!

Notice the yellow holo peeking out within the color? Love!

Cold Snap's application was perfection; not too runny and not too thick. It's opaque at two coats.

Model City Polish's are available at her Etsy shop, located here: Model City Polish. The polishes retail for $8 per full-sized nail polish. If you love holographic polish, I highly suggest checking her out!

I hope you've enjoyed this review. Feel free to shoot me a question or comment, I will be happy to help you out! And don't forget to check out my blog, Polished10.

Thanks and have a good evening, all!
